Motion Graphics Designer who has developed a solid foundation in the fundamental tools and assets required to make invigorating animations, including full Adobe Suite as well as Cinema 4D. Working as part of a team alongside other experienced designers has allowed me to produce a diverse and extensive range of videos, this can be seen in my online portfolio. Enthusiastic and committed to any project and team that I work with.
My goals and aspirations are to be the best motion designer I can be, this comes from honing my design and animation skills. I am constantly honing these through personal projects as well as work.
Animation is all-encompassing. It’s not just a career but a way of life. It permeates my very existence; for example the other day I was looking at raindrops sliding down my window and it made me picture the speed curve within After Effects and the rate of easing they had, it’s like neo seeing the code in ‘The Matrix’ but in graph-formation.
The sheer amount there is to learn in this industry excites me to my very core. I’m now six years into my animation journey (Employed for 4) and I couldn’t be happier, the more you know the more you realise the less you know – crikey that was a tongue twister. I am constantly learning my craft, upskilling and understanding things on a deeper level, motivating myself through seeing my animations improve year after year and being inspired by all the jaw-dropping work coming out. I’m on a quest to mastery – yes Robert Greene I am edging my way closer to 10,000 hours every day at a time.
Storytelling and design are the keys to unlocking any great work, brand or artwork. Now that my animation skills are up to scratch, I am now focusing on being the best motion designer by working on my design skills
